In the alleyways late at night, the aroma of rice noodle soup wafts from small shops, the peppery broth always dispelling fatigue. The owner tosses the rice noodles into boiling water for a few seconds, then tops them with sliced beef and pickled bamboo shoots, pours over bone broth simmered all night, sprinkles on pepper and scallions, and the steaming soup is topped with red oil. One sip, and while the broth makes your nose sweat, you feel completely refreshed. Next to it, wontons are cooking in a pot, their thin wrappers revealing tender pink fillings, floating like little white boats in the soup. Someone adds a spoonful of vinegar, the tangy aroma instantly awakening the taste buds. These small shops, open until late, lack luxurious decor but offer the warmest lighting, providing comfort even in the unfamiliar night, making fatigue slowly dissipate. It turns out that the true peace of mind on a journey isn't found in mealtimes, but in the comforting feeling of being able to fill your stomach anytime.

Barog Solan is a town in the Indian state of Himachal Pradesh and the district headquarters of Solan district. The 3rd largest Municipal Corporation of Himachal Pradesh after Shimla and Dharamshala, it is located 45.5 kilometres (28 mi) south of the state capital, Shimla, at an average elevation of 1,550 metres (5,090 ft).The place is named after the Hindu goddess Shoolini Devi. Every year in June, a fair venerating the goddess is held, featuring a 3-day mela at the central Thodo ground. Solan was the capital of the erstwhile princely state, BaghatSolan is also called the "City of Red Gold", due to the bulk production of tomatoes in the area. The city is situated between Chandigarh (joint capital of Punjab and Harayana) and Shimla (state capital) on the Kalka-Shimla National Highway-22. The narrow-gauge Kalka-Shimla railway passes through Solan. Located on the Punjab-Himachal Border, Solan is nestled in the Shivalik hills of the Himalayas.
