Right, so I swapped Edinburgh’s rainy streets for a chaotic 4-day sprint across the US! Honestly, my feet are still recovering but it was absolute madness in the best way.

We did a cheeky road trip starting in Washington DC. The Lincoln Memorial is actually massive 🏛️ and we did the classic walk past the White House. The festive holiday setup there was so lovely!

Then we headed to the Corning Glass Center. As a barista, I’m slightly obsessed with cups and glassware, so seeing all those crystal-clear designs was heaven. Kept my hands firmly in my pockets though, knowing my clumsy self 😅.

Highlight of the trip? Niagara Falls! We got absolutely soaked but the view was unreal. 🌊

Of course, I spent half my time hunting down local snacks. Managed to grab a proper Philly cheesesteak (messy but brilliant) and spent a ridiculous amount of time trying to find a decent flat white (American drip coffee is... an experience, let's leave it at that ☕️😂).

So exhausted but had the absolute best time. Now, back to Edinburgh to make some proper coffee! 🇬🇧
