![Just finished a full trip through Yili with the kids! Unlocked flower fields, grasslands, lakes, and snow-capped mountains all in one go~ I found that traveling by RV for the whole trip means no need to frequently change hotels or rush around~ Keeping daily driving time under 3 hours is the key to enjoying the trip without getting tired~

🌾 Day 1 Yining → Huanghuang Village (approx. 1.5 hours of driving)

💜 Day 3 Sayram Lake → Tianshan Flower Sea → Kalajun Grassland (approx. 4 hours of driving)

💡 Family travel tips
✔️ Dried fruits, milk curds, bread, kvass, and ice cream are all delicious. But remember to bring some stomach medicine 💊
✔️ The temperature difference between day and night in Yili is significant, so bring a windbreaker for the kids. 🧥
✔️ It's recommended to visit Xiata in the morning. It tends to rain in the afternoon, and the thick clouds don't make for good photos.
✔️ There are many curves in the mountains, so be sure to check the opening notices for the Yizhao Highway in advance.
✔️ Fill up the RV with gas and stock up on supplies in advance.
✔️ There is plenty of sunshine outdoors, so make sure to apply daily sunscreen for the kids.
✔️ Huanghuang Village is very photogenic, especially between 6:00 PM – 8:00 PM in the summer.
✔️ Leave half a day for Yining city; it's great for food, strolling, and photos.
