Zhenba cured meat, local honey, mountain bamboo shoots, chestnuts, and Qiuyue pears. They are all homegrown by locals, completely natural, affordable, and authentic. ⚠️ Real-life travel tips (super important) 1. The entire route involves long, winding mountain roads with very sharp turns. The drive is long with continuous curves, making it very easy to get carsick. If you get carsick, make sure to prepare motion sickness medicine in advance! 2. Not recommended for babies under 3-4 years old. The mountain roads are too winding and long; most young children will get carsick and feel uncomfortable. 3. Most places in the mountains have no cell signal. Make sure to travel with others, tell your family your itinerary in advance, and download offline maps. 4. The temperature difference on the mountain is huge, and the wind is fierce. Explore the magical secrets of Bashan Jade Cave on a National Day Day Trip Not feeling up for a long trip during the National Day holiday? Then dedicate a day to Bashan Jade Cave and discover a relaxing yet breathtaking short journey in this subterranean wonderland. Departing early in the morning, we drove towards Yudu Town, Zhenba County, filled with anticipation for the unknown. Outside the car window, the mountains and forests bathed in the deepening autumn colors, and the festive atmosphere of National Day, accompanied by the breeze along the way, quietly fostered a good mood. Upon arriving at the scenic area, we took a deep breath of the fresh mountain air, and with that refreshing feeling, we stepped into the cave entrance. Entering the cave, it felt like stepping into another world. The constant coolness dispelled the autumnal dryness, and the colorful lights cloaked the stalactites in a magical cloak—some resembled cascading jade curtains, shimmering and translucent; others resembled auspicious beasts with their heads held high, their expressions vivid; and still others resembled layered pavilions, concealing the secrets of time. As we slowly walked, the sound of dripping water and the faint murmur of a stream filled our ears, like nature's own unique National Day symphony. As we continued deeper along the trail, the outline of an underground river gradually became clearer. We slowly traversed the murky waterway, brushing past stalagmites and stone pillars on either side. Lights cast flickering shadows on the water, creating a sense of time travel, a sense of mystery brimming with life. Reaching an open area, we looked up to see stalactites "hanging" like stars, a breathtaking display of nature's uncanny craftsmanship. At noon, we stopped at a farmhouse near the cave to savor local mountain delicacies—delicious mushroom soup and fragrant bacon stewed rice, each mouthful bursting with simple flavors—to replenish our energy for the afternoon's journey. In the afternoon, explore the Flower and Fruit Tourist Park, Yudu Tea Mountain, Longsheng Viewing Platform, and Xiangdong Old Street surrounding the cave. Along the mountain trail, the National Day sun dappled the branches and leaves, and the wild chrysanthemums along the roadside were in full bloom. Climbing to the observation deck, we gazed out over the rolling hills, the autumn colors contrasting with the clear sky. Every snap was a beautiful souvenir of our National Day holiday. In the evening, we returned feeling deeply satisfied, the magical light and shadows of the cave and the refreshing mountain air still replaying in our minds. Though the day was short, the Bashan Jade Cave was filled with surprises and relaxation. This was probably the most enjoyable way to spend the National Day holiday.
星辰步子We woke at 7 for a 730 Didi taxi pickup from our hotel in Bell Tower. 50 minutes later we arrived and joined the queue - we were among the first 100 people to get in and see Pit 1 which was as dramatic as we imagined. Everything went smoothly. We then went to Pit 3 and finally pit 2. And then the museum. We worked out the free shuttle bus to Loch Gardens where we walked to the Bronze Chariots. Somewhat surprised at the small size of this exhibit. And we walked to the plinth that represents the Mausoleum - not understanding at first the vast forest pyramid upon which the mausoleum stood - best to go further away to see this. All in all an enjoyable 4 hours before easily getting a Didi taxi and avoiding the touts and taxi drivers trying to screw us on piece. 91CNY to get back. All good. We had bought snacks with us into the place with no problem.

320***33The Shaanxi History Museum is unique in China; reservations are virtually impossible without advance booking. To finally see it again, I decided to pay for more time, but I still didn't expect so many visitors on a weekday afternoon. Without the guide's explanations, I probably would have gotten lost in the crowds. The guide was very professional, knowledgeable, and humorous, making what could have been a rather dry visit an excellent experience. Thank you so much!

The Xi'an City Wall's cultural and creative products were a delightful surprise! The variety was amazing—fridge magnets, metal bookmarks, unique stamps, you name it. Many products cleverly incorporated elements of the city wall's crenellations and gates into their designs. Moreover, many products were exquisitely crafted, aesthetically pleasing, and both classically elegant and innovative. I picked out a few items to give as souvenirs to friends; they're practical and meaningful, allowing them to bring home a thousand-year-old memory of Chang'an. When visiting the city wall, you absolutely must check out the cultural and creative products store—it's a delightful surprise! You can find your own little touch of beauty from this ancient city.
M2w***uvHot springs are OK and you have welcome tea with fruits and they open umbrellas if there is a rain. But hard to find, the variety of springs is not very big and for this money I expected better.
_TI***obThis was the attraction with the longest queues during my trip to Xi'an. The 20-minute cable car ride was a bit scary. We only visited West Peak with our group of elderly people; we'll try to visit Zhenta Peak another time.

Set against the backdrop of Mount Li and with the sky and earth as its stage, it recounts a legendary story from a thousand years ago. In the evening, throngs of audiences flocked to the show. The numerous actors delivered brilliant and professional performances, and the stage and lighting effects were outstanding and stunning. Although the ticket price wasn't cheap, I still felt the experience was fantastic.
M22***51I really liked the hotel I booked in Xi'an. It's incredibly close to the Bell Tower and Drum Tower, less than a kilometer away, making it very convenient and allowing me to fully enjoy the beautiful scenery. The hotel environment was also great, and the staff were very attentive to our needs.
