Baicha Village is a natural village under the jurisdiction of Jiangbian Township, Dongfang City, Hainan Province. The thatched houses in the village are like upside-down boats, and the villagers call them "boat-shaped houses". There are a total of 81 boat-shaped houses in Baicha Village, which is one of the well-preserved natural villages with boat-shaped houses in Hainan Province. The boat-shaped house is the carrier of the excellent architectural skills of the Li people. In 2008, the boat-shaped house in Baicha Village was included in the national intangible cultural heritage list.
