Every year from December to April, Miami is a holiday destination for travellers and the best season to visit the Everglades National Park. Like other cities in South Florida, Miami has a tropical monsoon climate with a distinctly dry and wet season. Unlike the regular seasons of the year, this is a city that is too long in the summer and has few winters. Due to the hurricane that has been affected for many years, Miami is also known as the “wind capital”. The “hurricane season” is from June 1st to November 30th of each year. During this period, there may be severe weather such as heavy rainfall, strong winds and thunderstorms in the area.
