Hami Travel Guide

Hami, located in eastern Xinjiang, has been a strategic location on the Silk Road since ancient times. Hami is where the cultures of the Central Plain and the far west meet, and there are many cultural and natural sights here. The Heavenly Lake of Tianshan is a natural scenic area centered on a high mountain lake. It is a classic mountain scenic area in China's arid northwest. The Heavenly Lake of Tianshan has complete vertical natural scenery, mountain glaciers, and a high mountain lake, as well as folk flavor and an association with the mythological Queen Mother of the West. There are also historical sites like the Hami Royal Tombs, Lafuqueke Ancient Town (拉甫却克古城), and the Wubao Ancient Tomb Complex.
