RyuguShrine is a Ryugu Shrine located in Otaru City. The famous lyricist Kyoko Kitami originally wrote the song "Summer Night Festival" based on his impression of the sacrifices at Ryugu Shrine. Ryugu Shrine follows the traditional shrine system and uses wood as raw material. Although it is not large and does not have a very long history, it has a strong Japanese style and is very popular with locals. Every time there are festivals held at the shrine, Otaru becomes very lively.
