The Lotus Buddha Hall is located on the northwest side of the circular Buddhist house in the Polonnaruwa Square Courtyard. The entire building is constructed of stone imitating a wooden fence, creating a lattice-shaped stone fence, which is very unique. In the middle of the Buddhist hall is a small stupa surrounded by 8 stone pillars. These stone pillars rise straight into the sky, just like the stems of lotus flowers, bearing buds that have not yet bloomed. The tops of the stone pillars are in the shape of lotus buds. It is said that Nisan Kamala once sat here listening to monks chanting.
