Solar Voyager, completed in 1990, is a pirate ship skeleton sculpture created by well-known Icelandic sculptor Arnathan. It is placed on the coast north of Reykjavik and is an important symbol of this "smoke-free city". The statue facing the sea also represents the unruly spirit of the Viking navigators.
