We have lived in the town for many years and tried many of the restaurants mostly for lunches. This restaurant had been recommended but had escaped our visit. On the plus side the reception was warm and friendly and it is pleasant to eat on a terrace albeit close to a road. We chose the well priced lunch menu. The starter and dessert were really good. The main course was disappointing - a lamb stew. The meat seemed low quality with lots of fat. Maybe others would appreciate this. The lunch menu had no choices, unlike most other restaurants in the town. To move to à la carte would have more than doubled the cost of the three course meal. Our advice would be to check the menu before committing. And to repeat the entrée and dessert were excellent!
