Wenguang Pagoda is a seven-story pavilion-style stone pagoda in the Qing Dynasty in Chaoyang District. It was built in AD 1131 (the first year of Shaoxing in the Song Dynasty). It was collapsed and rebuilt three times in the Ming and Qing Dynasties. . The pagoda is a pavilion-style seven-story stone pagoda with an octagonal plane and a tower height of 42.3 meters. Wenguang Pagoda is a Ming-style masonry structure with the characteristics of fine architecture in Ming Dynasty. It was announced as a Guangdong Provincial Cultural Relics Protection Unit in 1989, and was designated as the seventh batch of national key cultural relics protection units by the State Council in 2013.
