This is our go to restaurant in Bordeaux. The food is beautifully prepared and presented and there is an excellent range of choices including a very reasonably priced lunch menu as well as the &agrave; la carte choices. Service is courteous, unobtrusive and well paced. The ambience is calm and peaceful. We will definitely be returning.

This restaurant is a beautiful discovery. We have chosen the fine menu that reserves five surprising mets. We have not been disappointed at all, on the contrary. The kitchen was delicious and refined, the service was perfect.The staff is very sympathetic.We strongly recommend.

Lovely lunch with my daughter whilst in Bordeaux for the rugby. Fisherman&#39;s salad and steak &amp; chips. Steak cooked to perfection (blue) and the salad was superb. Only downside we arrived towards the end of the lunch service and the fire was off to do the cr&egrave;me br&ucirc;l&eacute;e. The replacement cr&egrave;me caramel was delicious. Service was great the language barrier wasn&#39;t a problem.Thoroughly recommend.

Pizzeria sympathique comme le patron et son &eacute;quipe. La calzone m a impressioner en la voyant arriver car imposante mais c est bien pass&eacute;e. Tout le monde a &eacute;t&eacute; content

Comme d&#39;habitude, tr&egrave;s peu de surprise &agrave; l&#39;Alcala, on sait ce qu&#39;on vient y chercher (cuisine g&eacute;n&eacute;reuse et de bonne qualit&eacute;, et accueil chaleureux) et on n&#39;est pas d&eacute;&ccedil;u. D&#39;autre part le service est assez rapide compte tenu du tr&egrave;s bon remplissage de la salle. On y reviendra encore quelques ann&eacute;es ,)

As usual, very little surprise at Alcala, you know what you are looking for (grateful and good quality kitchen, and warm welcome) and you are not disappointed. The room is very nice and the service is quite fast, and it will be a few years later.

Lovely staff and a nice atmosphere. Very expensive for what you get. No seasoning, spice or much flavor sadly. The tortillas were good though!
