Hebei Ligong Daxue Dizhen Ruins

Hebei Mining and Metallurgical College (Hebei Institute of Technology predecessor) Library Building. The building was built in 1975 and completed in July 1976. It was destroyed before it was used. The building area is 4090 square meters. The reading room on the south side is 3 floors, 70 meters long, 12 meters wide, and13.5 meters high. It can accommodate 750 people to read at the same time. The library is located 4 kilometers northwest of the earthquake structure belt, which is in the 11-degree crack area of the 7.8 magnitude earthquake. The library is sheared and moved about 1 meter northeast, and then settled down. The status quo after its destruction retains traces left by horizontal movement on the ground during the earthquake.
