President Lincoln's Cottage

I went there this weekend with my brother-in-law and 10-year-old nephew. Charming place, really gives you a chance to get to know President Lincoln, which is not elsewhere. A little biased, the driving guide is good, and there are enough parking spaces even on weekends. Our tour was well guided by the guide. The introduction was very detailed. If you don't have a reservation, plan for that 3 hours.

We are fascinated by the history behind the villa. Our guide Rob, who is full of scriptures and knowledgeable, shared many stories about President Lincoln and the history of the villa. I could even imagine the way he walked through the porch and out the gate when the story about President Lincoln came out. The place was very special and historic. The staff here was outstanding too. We would like to recommend this place to visitors from other places!

Many will focus on the Ford Theatre and the White House, but also on the former residence of President Lincoln in Washington, DC, which was not open until 2008. For those who admire Lincoln with a heart of respect and worship, it was a big event that brought to mind the emancipation of the slaves when Lincoln lived there.

Lincoln President's Villa is not particularly easy to find in a relatively biased place in Washington. The buildings here are basically the same, relatively simple, and the interior furnishings are relatively simple. It is said that as Lincoln lived here, it was a real restoration of Lincoln's life at that time.

President Lincoln Villa is a large building, which was once the residence of President Lincoln in the first section, and the decoration inside is still very simple.
