Mori Clan's Castle
Actually not difficult to access, take a bus from Hiroshima Bus Centre or, if you have a JR Pass, from the town of Kabe is recommended. First go to the historical information centre (entrance fee nee...
I visited as part of a tour of Japan's Top 100 Castles. The historical and folk museum at the foot of the castle was closed due to the influence of Corona. The castle itself was the residence of Mr. Mori, and it is a large-scale mountain castle as a castle during the Warring States period. Going to the castle tower is like a light mountain climbing. The top is unexpectedly high, and the scenery overlooking is quite good.
I am deeply moved. Visit the grave of Motonari Mori. The people who served at that time are also buried nearby. It's wonderful. Was the castle in the cage? As with any castle, this castle seems to have been on a steep mountaintop. When you stand on the spot, something moves you.
You can enjoy the vast mountain castle ruins, which Motonari Mori fortified, earthworks, horikiri, and multi-stage ruins.

I visited Yoshida for the first time. At first, I was at a loss because I didn't know the location of the mountain trail and parking lot. When you arrive in Yoshida, there is a pamphlet of "Koriyama Castle" next to the parking lot of the History and Folklore Museum, so please get it first. As for the parking lot, if you climb the road on the south side of the museum to the northeast direction of 150m, the Daichiindani Ruins will be maintained as a park on your left. This toilet is also a large parking lot, or a parking lot near the entrance of Motonari Mori's graveyard, which has been climbed 150m (small and 6~...).
I can't recommend it unless you like real castles, but if you like castles, you can't help it!

"Yoshida Koriyama Castle Ruins", which was the beginning of the Mori family's expansion of power. You should be prepared for a fairly tight mountain climb. Don't forget the water in summer. My feet are never good, so I have to wear shoes that are easy to move, such as sneakers. Let's use both hands. It is a 400-meter climb. There are some graveyards and stone monuments of the Mori family in 々, and the earthworks and stone walls are not clearly understood. There is no beautiful scenery waiting for you at the top. Therefore, I really like the Mori family or castle ...
