Climb a narrow road from the national highway. Please note that the entrance is difficult to understand when coming from the direction of Kasarizaki Lighthouse. When you go up to the observatory, you will find a view point overlooking the East China Sea, the Pacific Ocean, and Kasari Bay. I couldn't see the sunset because it was cloudy on the day I visited, but if you look at the photo, you can see a beautiful sunset. There is Gamo Shrine on the way, so it's a good idea to visit there.
The view is good, but the road to the parking lot is narrow. There are few curve mirrors and evacuation spaces, so will they pass each other when oncoming cars come? I was worried. Since I went there in the summer, grass was overgrown on the left and right sides of the road, and I felt that the road width was even narrower. It seems to be a sunset spot, but it's a pity that I couldn't wait until sunset because I wasn't confident in driving on a dark and narrow road.
When you visit Amami, we highly recommend stopping by here. On a sunny day, it feels good to walk while watching the butterfly 々 flying. It's not too far from the parking lot and it's just a good distance. The scenery is superb, the contrast between the blue sea, white clouds and the green of the forest is the best. It's scary to go from evening time, so let's go to bright time.
It's a place you can't go without a car. I will go up a little mountain road. The width of the road is also quite narrow. The road from the parking lot to the observatory is paved, but I was worried that there would be a hub or something because the surrounding area was overgrown with trees 々. It's on a hill, so it was nice to have an observatory with a good view. A long time ago, it was used in the location of Detective Stewardess 8.

running from akagi village
From Akagi Name, it is a 10km round trip. The climb was also difficult, so I walked, but I was able to run leisurely because the quiet road continued.
Omnipotent attention
