Anuradhapura

Anura de Pula is an ancient city, Sri Lanka is the country of envelope Buddhism, so there are a lot of Buddhist architecture here. We took more than four hours of car from Negombo to this holy city. There are two ways to visit here, one is comfort, you can rent a car to visit, the other is self-abuse, rent a bicycle to play in the hotel, we chose the latter. Because it can save money, the biggest reason is that time can be controlled by itself, not limited by the driver. There are many stupas in the holy city, and the stupa and the stupa are separated by a relatively close bicycle to cross the attractions inside. Some attractions are not allowed to ride. Park the car in a special place to lock it. Don't worry about someone stealing!

[Sri Lanka Anuradpur] The holy city was selected for the World Heritage List in 1982, and it was once the capital of Sri Lanka for nearly a thousand years, and Buddhist relics are scattered throughout the city. Towering Shelly, exquisite carvings, brooding Buddha, dilapidated walls, wander the holy city and feel the vicissitudes of history!

The city is definitely a holy city. There are stupas everywhere. And each is huge. The whole city is covered with a heavy religious atmosphere. Buddhism is really influential. Worth visiting.

To sum up my impression of Anura Deppler in one sentence is: I feel sorry for not going, I feel disappointed after going! If you want to use the pit-pad index to describe Anuradepler, I think the pit-pad index: the three stars are first that the ticket price is too expensive, 25 dollars/person, compared to Angkor Wat 40 dollars/person/3 days of ticket price, obviously much more expensive! Second, the scale of Anuradpur attractions and the exquisite and spectacular extent of its buildings are far inferior to Angkor Wat, and the local tourism facilities and reception capacity are far less than Siem Reap, especially in terms of the number of hotels and the price of hotels.

Anuradpur (Anuradhapura) is the oldest city in Sri Lanka with a history of 2,500 years, became the capital of Sri Lanka in 380 BC and was the seat of Sri Lankan royalty for a thousand years. The site of the ancient imperial city was discovered in the nineteenth century and has been renovated to date and is listed as a World Heritage Site.
