Bangkok locals' night market! Indy Market!
There are many bustling night markets in Bangkok, but if you want to experience a more localized night market life, don't miss the Indy Market.
This night market is really localized! It's also far from the city center!
Most of the stall owners hardly speak English, so there are almost no tourists,
just locals wandering around, which is why the prices here are really cheap!
The whole night market is quite large, divided into two parts, the right side is the goods area, with clothes, shoes, accessories, toys, etc., and the left side is the food stall district, with the food street right next to the bar street.
⭕️ 'Food Recommendations'
✔️Spicy Curry Powder: 10 baht per serving, the taste is really local, and the spiciness is just right!
✔️Shrimp Cakes: Very affordable! The taste is also good, completely different from the shrimp cakes we have in China.
✔️Spicy Raw Salad: A small dish, 4 baht per serving, but you can order several servings, very fresh!
⭕️ 'Business Hours'
17:00-24:00, it is recommended to come around six or seven o'clock.
⭕️ 'Transportation Tips'
You can take the BTS to Wongwian Yai station, then take a taxi from exit 2, the ride takes about 10 minutes.
It is a night market close to Anbori and is clean and well maintained compared to other places. You can also see a variety of food and things here.
There are many locals who took me to a Thai friend. The menu is in English, so I can understand the price, and I was able to order without any particular worry ☺️ The fourth photo was sweets, and there was a white one like marshmallows. What looks like carrots is the yolk of eggs. The fifth photo is sweet milk. I remember it was a taste 🍓🥛 It's sweet, but the amount is just a little, so there's no problem. The 6th photo is a sherbet-shaped cocktail 🍸 We all asked for a large size and shared it 🙃 The 7th photo is a beetle. Like a beetle ... There was no particular taste and it smelled like shrimp. It seems that there is a taste other than salty taste, and Thai friends were eating more and more in the snack of sake. The last photo was delicious with shrimp patty 🦐 A very large shrimp was in the dawn, and the aroma of lime and herbs was strong and delicious 🥰
Hangul and awkward Korean paintings and photos seen in the indie market are Hanryu? It is one of the night markets where you can see one side of the night market. It is similar everywhere, but it is not long since it was created, so I think it is a well-maintained night market. The way to get here is by bus. It's a bit uncomfortable because there are only taxis and cars, but I think it's worth a visit at least once..
Night markets are a way of life in Bangkok, and Indy Market is definitely a popular one. The place is crowded with locals and tourists alike and offers several rows of stalls selling food, drinks, clothing, souvenirs, and gadgets. We saw live squid shots for sale and some pets for sale. There were also several barbers offering haircuts. Definitely one of the night markets worth visiting.
