Zhong Shan ParkThis park was just what we needed after a very busy morning at the Palace Museum. The gardens are pretty and it was relatively quiet after the crowds outside. A minimal entrance charge. This was where we found the only children's playground during our time in Beijing to the delight of our 3 and 5 year olds. The entrance charge for this was well more than the park but worth it after we had all walked through the palace museum. But instead of a tourist attraction, I think it's more like a beautiful normal park, where you can take a walk with your family after dinner. Though it's definitely not as famous as Tiananmen Square, it shows the beauty of this old town-Beijing of its own way. 20230806 Zhongshan Park 20230806 It is rare to cool down and visit Zhongshan Park. Get off at Nanchang Street on Bus No. 5 and walk more than 300 meters to the West Gate. Zhongshan Park is located in the south of the Forbidden City (Forbidden City) in the center of Beijing, on the west side of Tiananmen Square, separated by a wall from the Forbidden City. It covers an area of 230,000 square meters and is a memorial classical temple garden.[1] It was originally a social altar in the Ming and Qing dynasties, and it was built along with the Tai Temple (now the Cultural Palace of the Working People) along with the ritual system of the "Zuozu Youshe" since the Zhou Dynasty. Tanghuawu is northwest of the south gate of Zhongshan Park in Beijing. The plane is swallow-winged and is a greenhouse flower house.
