The Colorful Beach is not far from the county town of Burqin, and generally speaking, if you are traveling the North Xinjiang loop, you would arrange to return to Burqin before evening, or depart from Burqin to the Devil City the next day. The Colorful Beach is a scenic spot that is very "weather-dependent". It is located on the banks of the Irtysh River, and the soil itself has some colorful hues, but if you catch the sunset, the saturation of the colors will be higher and more beautiful. When we went, it was in the morning, so we basically saw its original appearance (the photos are also of the original look). When there are few people in the scenic area, it's not bad to take some photos, but if the weather is bad or the wind is strong or there is no sunset, it greatly diminishes the beauty of the scenery.
