The Rechamet Hotel Chambéry is now converted into an art gallery with paintings and sculptures by many modern French artists. Also exhibited are many of the classic furniture of the Rechamet hotel, very characteristic of the French medieval noble life, definitely worth visiting.
The Rechamet Hotel Museum is a famous residence on the outskirts of Chambéry. Monet has lived here for a while. There are many exhibitions of the room layout at the time, as well as some replicas of Monet's works. A French pastoral farmhouse view is worth a visit.
LesCharmettes Meiju is located in the countryside on the southeast outskirts of Chambéry, a mansion built in the 16th century. Enlightenment thinker Rousseau and lover Mrs. Warren lived here in 1736-1742, the garden is full of flowers and vines. Open hours: Wednesday to Monday 10:00-12:00, 14:00-18:00. Free visit. It is a 25-minute walk from the train station.
