Not Worth the Visit
We started to wander into the area, but as others have said, it doesn't feel too safe for visitors. I would give it a miss. If you do go keep expensive consumer goods out of sight.

This place is amazing. So much rich history and beautiful architecture. I visited on a Saturday and was delighted to finally see locals selling local products. There were fishermen selling fresh fish ...
Do not visit here without a local.
This area is the hood of St. Thomas. There are drug dealers in the corners and the area is run by a gang. It is a historic part of Charlotte Amalia but do not go without a local guide!!!
