Shedd Aquarium

Wonderful exhibits for the animals, loved seeing replications of what they’d face in nature. Really appreciated that the dolphins and belugas were in an enclosed environment as to not get sun burned in their enclosure, as many face this issue in other zoos/aquariums that are outside. One of the pompous, mesmerizing buildings is designed in the spirit of neoclassicism, and the facades seem to bring to life the mysterious inhabitants of the depths of the sea imprinted in stone. The building itself made of terracotta and marble is striking in its grandiosity of design: here is the rigor of the Doric order in massive columns, and the classics of Greek pavilions, and a wide marble staircase. This is what the famous Shedd Aquarium looks like.Today it is in the first place in the country in terms of occupied area, and was once considered the largest in the world. Up to two million tourists visit this amazing place every year. Here, innovations, modern technologies and the variety of species presented perfectly coexist with the traditions and delights of architectural solutions, and caring for the inhabitants and the environment is an integral part of the management's policy, which has become the key to the success of the Shedd Aquarium.

Shede Aquarium is a very good place here. The aquarium has many biological fish and some performance projects. People are not as many as domestic aquariums. You can quietly enjoy the life of some aquatic animals. There are more requirements for taking pictures.

The Shedd Aquarium is HUGE and located in Chicago IL and this is Chicago’s most visited attraction. Its bit crowdy with screaming kids (*_*) and you can barely get close enough to see anything. Getting there in the morning so you have more time slots available to choose from for the dolphin show. They have a wide variety of sea life from different areas around the world. In simple words this is a great display of aquatic life and recommend it for young children and anyone who enjoys marine life.
