Chongqing Art Gallery (Jiefangbei Guotai Arts Centre)

Located In the Jiefangbei district of Chongqing, the museum stands out amongst the surrounding buildings with it's unique shape and eye-catching design. The upper floors are designed for exhibitions or special artist features. Lower floors can be alternated to produce gallery spaces or walk-around interactive areas. The Museum has three floors in the Cathay Pacific Grand Theatre. There are occasional paintings exhibitions from home and abroad, as well as many exhibitions about the characteristics of Chongqing. It's also interesting to take children to see it on weekends. If you are a couple, it's OK. And the museum is free.

The Art Gallery on the People's Branch of Zengjiayan covers a small area, but the four-storey space contains a lot of exhibits. During the Mid-Autumn Festival, on the first floor, painter Fu Jihong's works in Chinese were displayed on the second and fourth floors.
