Gaobeidian opened the Shan Temple, it seems to have been opened recently. At present, the tickets are confiscated. I went to see it today. The temple is in an alley, which is relatively narrow. There are not many people and you can park.
Kaishan Temple is rumored to have been built in the Tang Dynasty (618 ～ 907 AD). Most of the original buildings have been destroyed. Now only the temples built in the Liao Dynasty and the Temple of Heavenly Kings and King Kong Temples have been repaired by future generations. The temples are 5 wide, 3 deep, and the height is about 13.2 meters. The columns in the hall are thick and strong, with obvious side feet and rise, each column is rounded, the top of the hall is a far-reaching, curved and flat roof of the hall. In order to expand the view, the hall used the common column reduction method in Liaojin buildings during the construction process. There are only 4 columns in the temple, and the view is wide. It is suitable for the needs of placing many Buddhist statues in the temple. It fully reflects the design idea of closely combining the internal structure arrangement and practical requirements of the Liao Dynasty Buddha Temple. In addition, there are still Liao Dynasty murals in the temple. The current existing for renovation, the history of this building and its story can be preserved, but the temple is small in size, the architectural history and cultural value is higher, and the value of the scenery is not high.

Kaishan Temple is located in Gaobeidian, Baoding City, Hebei Province. It was built in the Liao Dynasty. Commonly known as the Big Buddha Temple.
