Finally made it, here's a real test share
Last week I shared about the new luxury wilderness homestay in Conghua-Jiyunyao, and many fans inquired.
Taking advantage of the flash sale (1199 RMB for a garden view suite), I came to test it out and share with everyone.
First, let me talk about the package I stayed in this time
❀ Cost includes:
1. Garden view deluxe room (king bed) for 1 night
2. Exquisite breakfast for 2 adults and 1 child (1 child refers to a child under 12 years old)
3. Access to the hanging swimming pool, forest-view tea platform, wildflower path, and terraced fields
4. Unlimited use of the hot spring pool in the room (some rooms have a bathtub)
5. Room wireless wifi
6. Free parking + sightseeing car free shuttle from the parking lot to the homestay entrance
The deadline is March 15th, and the valid period is until June 30th
Real test score:
Overall, I give it 8.5 out of 10.
Nowadays, compared to hotels, wilderness luxury homestays don't have a price advantage. But there are two different needs. A good homestay must have a beautiful natural environment and attentive butler-style service. Jiyunyao does both well. First of all, upon check-in, there is a handwritten blessing from the butler, although the handwriting could be improved, the handwritten note can give guests a warmer concern. Then there's the environment, the homestay is located in a valley of Conghua Hot Spring Town, backed by a lychee forest and facing the rice fields, this combination of scenery is very harmonious. I think spring is a good time to experience it, when the weather is mild and the air is fresh.
Homestay amenities
All room types here come with a private hot spring, allowing you to soak in 59-degree hot spring water without leaving your room. There is no public hot spring pool here (mind you, don't book if you care), there is also an infinity pool with mountain spring water, a children's playground, and a dining bar. I went out to a nearby farm for dinner because there are many farms around here. But if you don't want to run around, the food here is not bad, after all, nowadays homestays will definitely make good food and drink. I also really liked the breakfast the next day, it was a slow and ceremonial experience, filling and delicious.
Surrounding attractions
Conghua's tourist resources are very rich, in short, it's just a matter of a gas pedal, very convenient.
Depending on the climate, you can go to different parks. You can go to Liuxi River Forest Park and Shimen Forest Park in all seasons, Xitou Village to admire plum blossoms in spring, Yandong River, Jiulonggou Waterfall in summer, etc. I won't go into detail here, if you want to know more, feel free to comment.
Liuxihe Reservoir, alias Xiaoche Reservoir, is located in the narrow valley of 1.3 kilometers under Xiaoche Village, Liangkou Town, Conghua District, Guangzhou City, Guangdong Province, China. It is named after the main dam crosses the main stream of Liuxi River. There are few people and beautiful scenery, suitable for taking pictures with your baby.
Located in the north suburbs of Guangzhou, the tributary of the Pearl River is the source of drinking water in Guangzhou. The two sides are tree-lined and the scenery is beautiful. Praise 👍
The quiet streaming river is beautiful.
Recommend to everyone a fun camping experience, very good choice
Liuxihe Scenic Area is actually an artificial reservoir. There are some plank roads next to the reservoir. The overall feeling is relatively boring and tickets are required.
