Children's Peace Monument

The statue of the son of the atomic bomb 0 killed, also known as the "son of the original explosion", is located in the Nakajima Peace Memorial Park in Nakajima City, Hiroshima Prefecture, Japan, established on May 5, 1958, Showa 33 (Japan's Children's Day). The statue was modeled on a Japanese girl, Sasaki Scorpion, who developed leukemia when she was two years old from radiation from the atomic bomb. The fear of death afflicted Scorpion from knowing life, and a patient told her that it could be healed by folding a thousand paper cranes. The good deception brought hope to the little girl, and the weak dumplings kept folding paper cranes until they died at the age of 12, but they still failed to fold a thousand. After her death, the students who were greatly hit appealed to the country to "create a consolation monument for all children who died from the atomic bomb", and received support from students in more than 3,100 schools across the country and nine countries around the world, and finally built a statue of the atomic bomb's son.

In Hiroshima city center scenic spot in the original explosion park, visitors like knitting here should be regarded as a marker of the Japanese heartache. There are many small signs around the original explosion hall with Chinese characters such as peaceful boycott of nuclear weapons and so on. In Japanese, you can probably see that the river in front of the original explosion Memorial building in autumn is a must-see scenic spot in Hiroshima in spring.

The Children's Peace Monument (原爆の子の像, Genbaku no Ko no Zō, lit. "Atomic Bomb Children Statue") is a monument for peace to commemorate Sadako Sasaki and the thousands of child victims of the atomic bombing of Hiroshima. This monument is located in Hiroshima, Japan. Sadako Sasaki, a young girl, died of leukemia from radiation of the atomic bomb dropped on Hiroshima on 6 August 1945.
