Walk the PeakA trip to Victoria Peak is a must for visitors to Hong Kong. Many ride up the Peak Tram and enjoy the view from there but don't know there's much more to see. A circle route takes you all the way around the Peak, giving a view in every direction. Parts of the trail go through well established forest and it feels more like being in the jungle than in the middle of a densely populated city. It's definitely one of the best places to see the skylines of Central and Kowloon, separated by Victoria Harbour. The circle takes about an hour at a reasonable walking pace. Weather has a big impact on scenery view. Too bad on my trip to The Peak as socked with smog. The tram ride is excellent and the Marketplace is good for souvenirs. Even though it was foggy the day we went, but it was worth it. Tips for sending postcard, there is a post office opposite the Madame Tussauds Hong Kong. You can get a cop on postcard with 'The Peak' stamping and post office stamping.
I found that there was fog on the top, I couldn't see anything, the weather affected a lot, but I still took some pictures before dark! Great experience with family. Went there last 2019 for my eldest son 7th birthday. Very nice view on the deck stunning view of the city. My kids are very happy during their ride with the tram going to Victoria Peak. Which is their first time riding a tram going up.
Highest point in the Hong Kong area, with breathtaking views of the city. Taking the Peak Tram is the standard and recommended way to reach there but you can also hike up if the weather is not too warm.Must go attraction for tourists and locals.
