I only saw the exterior of the passage on the way from Matsuen Residence to the Dongdaemun Tourist Night Market on foot. There were nostalgic buildings lined up, but I didn't feel any signs of people, so I passed by without thinking it was a famous place!
After visiting the Matsuen Annex, I went down the marble slope for about 10. Perhaps because it was a weekday, only a rental kimono shop was open, there were no spectators, and it was not popular, so I felt lonely. .. There are many ruins that are about to collapse. Last month, after seeing the similar cypress houses in the Japanese colonial era in Chiayi beautifully restored and there were many tourists, I felt that the feeling of ruins was very conspicuous.

However, since the preservation state of the building is not very good, and it is not possible to enter it basically, it is good to go out by enjoying the town (several houses lined up) at that time. However, since it doesn't take much time, there is a "Matsuen Annex" just in the back mountain there, so it is efficient to consider a visit as a set. It is located in the hillside facing east, so I think it is good to visit in the morning.
