▲ Miyahara Ophthalmology: Originally known as Miyahara Takeo Eye Hospital, this building was established during the Japanese colonial period in the 1930s. In 2010, the renowned Taichung pineapple cake brand "Dawn Cake" acquired the building and renovated it. The exterior retains some original elements and the arcade, while preserving the "Miyahara Ophthalmology" sign. This successful transformation repurposed the historic building into an elegant commercial space selling pastries, beverages, and desserts. The fresh and innovative products attract large crowds of curious visitors daily, breathing new life and vitality into this cross-era architectural gem.

▲ National Taichung Theater: Designed by Pritzker Prize-winning Japanese architect Toyo Ito. The National Taichung Theater boasts a privileged setting, housing three professional theaters and a versatile space called the "Corner Salon" within its impeccable architecture. When you add the plaza under the blue sky, the outdoor theater, and the rooftop sky garden, the theater becomes a captivating stage from every angle—inside and out, from the ground to the rooftop.

▲ Lukang Township: The godfather of music, Lo Ta-yu, has sung many popular songs, among which "Lukang Township" is a classic masterpiece. Walking on the red brick paths of Lukang Township, free from the noise of traffic, visitors slow their pace and immerse themselves in traditional shops, rediscovering childhood memories. Now designated as a heritage conservation area, the ancient residences, artifacts, and door couplets on both sides reflect the lifestyle and traditions of past generations. In recent years, with the rise of tourism, some homeowners have begun selling folk art, showcasing the new charm of this ancient street. This not only allows visitors to reminisce about the past but also provides many more reasons to linger.

▲ Gaomei Wetland: Gaomei Wetland (Gaomei Wildlife Reserve) boasts abundant natural resources and is one of the few collective breeding areas for geese and ducks. Over 120 bird species have been recorded here, making it a vital ecological conservation zone. It has gradually become a new hotspot for birdwatching enthusiasts. Exploring Gaomei Wetland at sunset is especially breathtaking.

▲ Feng Chia Night Market: Located near the side gate of Feng Chia University, Feng Chia Wenhua Night Market primarily caters to young adults in their 20s and 30s. Due to its proximity to both the university district and downtown, it has gradually become the leading night market in Taichung. Unlike other night markets in the city, it is not only famous for its food but also features a variety of shops and has longer operating hours. Today, the revitalized Feng Chia Wenhua Night Market attracts diverse crowds, and its commercial zone continues to expand. It has been voted one of the "Top Ten Tourist Attractions in Taichung" by locals.
