Wangjiang Pavilion

Located at the height of Zhongshan Park in Huizhou City, it was formerly known as Wangye Pavilion. It was built in the eleventh year of Tongzhi in the Qing Dynasty (1872) and overhauled in 1959. The pavilion stands beside the river, and there are towering ancient banyan trees and phoenix trees. In summer, the river breeze is swaying, and the red is everywhere. The sun is shining in winter, and the shadows of the trees are mottled. On the morning of October 16, 1925, a military-civilian gathering was held here, and a memorial meeting for the fallen soldiers was held in the afternoon. The pavilion was used as the rostrum and the front of the pavilion was the venue. People often come here to cherish the memory of revolutionary martyrs.
