It is a small shrine near the Otsuka Kofun tumulus. Even if it is small, there is a guardian dog properly, and there is a small main hall in the back. I was able to worship calmly without anyone.
The shrine itself is small and unmaintained, so I think you will be disappointed. However, you can feel the ancient atmosphere in front of the shrine surrounded by old walls.
It's a difficult character, but it seems to be read as Izanami Mikotojinja. It is a quiet shrine, but its history is surprisingly old and has been around since the Edo period. There is no torii gate and Ishito Road is a landmark.
It is about 10 walk from the bus stop in front of Ikaruga Town Hall. There was no torii gate, which is the proof of the shrine. It's a small shrine, but there is no sign of people and it's surrounded by trees 々, so I felt dark in the daytime.
