Weishan is located in the west of Zhangqiu City, at the junction of the plain and the mountainous area. Weishan, which is not high above sea level, has become a "high mountain" standing in the surrounding plains. In 2001, the government decided to build a Weishan Scenic Area here, and planted trees in the scenic area. Later, the Han Dynasty burial pit was discovered. The awareness of cultural relics protection made the news of Weishan Terracotta Warriors quickly pass through normal channels. It was reflected in the relevant cultural departments, and the governments and agencies attached great importance to this discovery, and established a joint archaeological team composed of the Shandong Provincial Institute of Archaeology, the Jinan Municipal Institute of Archaeology, and the Zhangqiu Municipal Museum. It is said that three burial pits of the Han Dynasty were discovered during the excavation. The first pit is the Chemayong pit, the second pit is the figurines pit related to the life of the tomb owner, and the third pit is not only the sarcophagus and the wooden coffin, but also some pottery and pottery unearthed. Pots and pottery pots and other utensils, thirty or forty arrowheads and some stone pills of unknown purpose were also found. Due to the collapse of the cover, there were also vehicles, figurines and horses in the pit that were severely broken. The pit also includes more than 170 pottery figurines, four pottery carriages, nearly 100 shields, etc., as well as pottery relics related to drum music and ritual systems, such as Jian drums, Bei drums, bi, beads, and pans. The pottery products found at the terracotta warriors and horses in Weishan have colorful paintings, which are not only colorful, but also lifelike and look very distinctive.
The vowel temple on the other side of Weishan Park is not open to the outside world, so I can only go to the Big Buddha to worship. The sound of the wind bell is solemn and beautiful, and the appearance of the Big Buddha is kind and mysterious, but I can't take pictures.
Weishan, Zhangqiu District, Jinan City, has a standing Buddha, beautiful shape, kind eyes, although it is newly built, but also very aura, clean the soul of a good place, walking along the mountain road exercise body is very comfortable.
The Weishan Scenic Area, south of the Shilu Road, passed by many times and had no chance. Today, I stole half a day's leisure, taking advantage of the drizzle and the brightness, the rare cool weather in summer, I went hiking and sightseeing.
Zhangqiu Weishan is famous for the Weishan Terracotta Warriors and Horses, but now the Terracotta Warriors and Horses are on display in the museum, and there is only Weishan Scenic Area. You can reach it by bus. Probably because it is a free scenic spot, there is no maintenance, and there are few guide signs. The scenery is average. The main things to see are the Big Buddha, the Vollone Temple, the Holy Well and the Weishan Sanbei. The Big Buddha is in a big hall, but the hall is under repair, so it is not open, you can also go around to see, the Golden Buddha is indeed majestic. On the way to the top of the mountain, there is a sealed well by a small pond, which is said to be the name of the local town of Shengjing. The monk pointed out the place where the holy well was located and rescued the local drought. Maybe this is the heel of the Buddhist temple here. The Bible goes up to the vowel temple. There are various promotions of core values from the door. To be honest, it is not like the Buddhist temple. According to an old gentleman, fasting is not open to the outside world, which is contrary to the Buddha's heart of opening the convenient door. There is a vowel tower behind the vowel temple, and there is a very grand and unopened treasure building with a thousand Buddhas temple. Next to the vowel temple is the Yuhuang Pavilion, which is where the three monuments of Weishan are located. However, it is said that the Tang tablet in the three monuments broke, the jade emperor pavilion did not open, the peach tree in front of the door fell a place.
Commuting to and from Lixia District and Zhangqiu District, passing by the Weishan Scenic Area of Shengjing every day, seeing the Big Buddha from afar, I have been wanting to go in and see it. Today, I finally got my wish and learned about the history of Weishan. The scenic spot is free, and the vegetation inside is lush. In addition to the Big Buddha, there are also vowel temples, vowel towers, and jade emperor pavilions, which are all rebuilt according to the original history. There are monks in the temple, and there are also folks who are renovated. As early as the late Yuan and early Ming Dynasty, the folks circulated the magnificent poems of "Zhangqiu Eight Great Views": "Towering the sacred wells of the dangerous mountains, the sound of the spring rising and flowing water. Baimai cold spring pearl rolls, the night snow powder makeup city of the hall. Jinchuan misty rain is always moist, and the Longdong wind is clear. Baiyunxuan returns late, lying down to see Dongling Xiaoyueming." The eight landscapes depict the beautiful and picturesque scenery of Zhangqiu Mountain and River, with Weishan winning the first place. Weishan is named after the dangerous stars in the 28 stars. It is said that Liu Piguang, the king of Pingling in the early Han Dynasty, was buried in Weishan after his death, so he also called Weishan "Iron Tomb Top". The grave pit found in Weishan is the largest crater discovered in Shandong region for the first time and is an important discovery of the archaeology of Han Dynasty. The scale, structure and significance of this group of terracotta warriors and horses is second only to the terracotta warriors and horses of Qin Shihuang and Yangjiawa of Xianyang, Shaanxi, and can be called the third largest terracotta warriors and horses in the country. It has been stored in Zhangqiu Museum.
