Park

    Original Text

If you climb the stone steps with stone pillars written as Kamaishi Yakushi Kannonji, you will find Kannonji Temple on the way, and if you climb further, you will reach Yakushi Park. The park had an atmosphere like a place for memorials to the war dead rather than a playground. In the park, there was a statue of the Goddess of Peace, a monument to the Shotoku and a monument to the loyal soul of Masuke Takahashi, who devoted himself to the development of iron and steelmaking.
