A place to know the history of Imai Cho
Original Text
It is called Hanaka. It was originally a town hall in Imai Town, and now plays a role as a museum and tourist information center in Imai Town. The diorama and historical chronological table that show the cityscape of Imai Town are a hot topic, but I am interested in buildings from the Edo period, so the photos of insect basket windows are very impressive. Before seeing the cityscape of Imai Town, let's study in advance!
Comparing the Imai Town model at that time in 1877 and the current Imai Town, I feel the splendor of Imai Town.

Comparing the Imai Town model at the time of 1877 (see attached photo) in the room on the far right here, it is less than 150 years old. I feel wonderful . I came to the Imai Machinami Exchange Center Hana, where the parking lot is nearby, to take a walk in the streets of Imai Town, where the streets of the Edo period remain. This old and nice building is said to be an educational museum built in Meiji 36. Currently, it was a museum that exhibits the history of Imai Town.
After learning the whole picture with dioramas and videos at the center operated by Ebara City, I thought it would be nice to walk through the old streets of Imai Town.
I came to this Imai Machinami Exchange Center, which has a parking lot, to explore the cityscape of Imai Town. This building was built in the Meiji era on the southeast side of Imai Town and is said to be a designated cultural property of Nara Prefecture. I was able to tour the inside for free. Materials explaining the history of Imai Town were exhibited, which helped me take a walk after this.
