Quick stop
The cave is very small as it stops to store saki. I would stop to see temple and shrines to unborn and war memorial and move on. We had a tour guide that was actually a WW2 refugee who hid out in this...
The Nisshudo Cave is located on the same grounds as Kin Kannon Temple. A gift shop to the right of the temple sells tickets for the cave for 300 yen. Sturdy walking shoes are recommended becase the st...
It is a limestone cave with an entrance to the precincts of Kinbu Kannonji Temple. You can enter for free, but as others have written, it is completely pitch black without lights. I went down the stairs with my smartphone light as a clue, but when I arrived at the entrance of the limestone cave, I couldn't see anything but my feet, so I had no choice but to turn back. To see the limestone cave, you can't compete without decent lighting, not smartphone lights.
Although it is a limestone cave in various places, the temperature is constant and it is cool! !! Kinbu has a place where Awamori is ripened in a limestone cave, so it's a trout! !!
Although it is Hishu-dong in the side of Kinbumiya, I couldn't go back because the electricity was out of order, but when I went down the entrance stairs, there was a gold cloth bag. At the bottom of the stairs was a shrine (I think this is Kinbugu). Kumano Gongen was also enshrined. Awamori old sake is placed at the back.
