    Beautiful hike

Worth the drive, and parking is free! Bring hiking poles and wear appropriate shoes, as the steps are steep. That said, I did a short walk in a dress and tennis shoes, I was fine.

I remember climbing from here to climb the mountain in the Kuju area ... Friends of the Katae Youth Group were also Kuju fans. Is Baba happy too?

I started climbing on the way and prepared rain gear at the observatory with a good view that arrived in about 15 minutes. I decided to come back to the Hoshiyama branch after passing Mt. kumagake. I gave up my reservation for Hokkein Onsen ...

Mountain climbing to Mt. Kuju and Mt. Kuroiwa

    Original Text

Take the bus from the Kuju Town Community Bus Bus Stop "Kuju Tozanguchi (Chojahara) Miyama-mae" in front of Montbel in Chojahara and you will arrive at Makinoto Pass for about 7 minutes. If you walk on the Kyushu Nature Promenade, it takes about an hour from Chojahara. From the trailhead on the rest house side, you can climb the Kuju mountain range. From the rest house, you can climb the observatory (less than 10 minutes walk) and Mt. Kuroiwa (30 minutes walk climbing) from the other side. The parking lot is crowded early in the morning during the autumn leaves season ...
