　Nusamai Bridge over the Kushiro River that flows through the center of Kushiro city. On the railing of the bridge, a ４ statue of a naked woman called "Statue of the Four Seasons" stands. One of them is this "winter statue". The author of this statue is Shin Hongo, a sculpture that expresses "the heart that waits for spring in the cold and winter". Also, this ４ body's "Four Seasons Statue" is said to be the first sculpture statue on a bridge made in Japan.
