Last month I went to Guangxi with my friends. When it comes to Guangxi, everyone knows that 'Guilin's landscape is the best under heaven'. In fact, around Guilin, there is another beautiful terraced field scenic area - Longji Terraced Fields, known as the 'crown of the world's terraced fields'. Blue sky and white clouds☁, layers of terraces🌾, like a huge ink painting in front of my eyes, exactly the same as what I saw in the TV commercials, casually shooting is a big scene effect, I really regret why I only come now! The terraces have different beauty in each season, the best check-in season is from May to October: 🌾May-June: Watering period, watch 'mirror terraces' 🌾July-September: Growing period, watch 'matcha green terraces' 🌾End of September-October: Autumn harvest period, watch 'golden terraces' ⛰️About the scenic spot: Longji Terraced Fields is a large-scale terraced field group. Ping'an Terraced Fields and Jinkeng Terraced Fields are the main viewing areas. Ping'an was developed earlier and has more tourists. Jinkeng was developed later but is larger and has more viewing points. Therefore, we chose to stay in Jinkeng Terraced Fields this time for convenience. 🏠About accommodation: There are many homestays in the Longji scenic area. We chose the Muye Chenxi Homestay, which is very close to the viewing platform. It takes 5-20 minutes to walk🚶🏻 to the viewing platform 1-2. The important thing is that I really like the design style of this homestay! The overall design comes from the hands of British huang family architects. Whether it's design aesthetics or living experience, it didn't disappoint us. The room is very warm and tidy, and the terraced scenery is just outside the window, which is simply the life I long for~ The homestay also has a 180-degree viewing platform, which is very open and full of green plants🌿🌿. Sitting on the platform and looking into the distance, you can see the scenery of Longji Terraced Fields. The afternoon tea is also very good, the coffee☕ and desserts🍰 are all professional. There are limited desserts in different seasons. I strongly recommend Double Chocolate Parlinne, Passion Fruit Basque, and Rum Cherry Chocolate. With a cup of coffee, sitting on the viewing terrace, blowing the mountain breeze, looking at the terraced scenery in the distance, it's so cool! 🥢About food: There are no special restaurants in the scenic area. We all eat in the homestay, dining on the viewing platform, which is quite comfortable. I didn't expect the food in the homestay to be delicious, very authentic mountain food: spicy chicken, bamboo rice, spring water fish, rice fragrant fish are all must-order. The ingredients are very fresh, and I, a person who doesn't usually like to eat fish, can't stop praising it~ 🚘About transportation: 🚗The most convenient is of course self-driving. The homestay sends the location of 'Tiantouzhai Parking Lot' in advance, and the car can directly reach the door of the shop. The last section of the road is quite steep and narrow. We walked back to the mid-mountain homestay from the cable car, and both the elderly and children were quite happy 😄. 🌄 No. 2 Viewing Platform Thousand Layers Terraces: It is said that you can drive near it, we walked there from the homestay, it took about 1 hour to get there, and there were Seven Stars Accompanying the Moon on the way 🌟. However, there was a heavy fog that day, and we couldn't see anything 😑. After waiting for a long time, the fog finally dispersed, we hurried to take photos 📸, but in a few minutes, it was foggy again 🌫. So if you encounter heavy fog, don't rush to leave, wait and see, the scenery is very beautiful 🌅. If you are physically fit, you can walk to each viewing platform, there are well-maintained stone steps, and there are many beautiful terraced fields along the way 🌱. The terraces on the mountains are extremely beautiful, leaning on the slope, with clear levels and lines. The rice ears in the field are slightly drooping, with a little yellow in the green, blending with the continuous mountains and the vast sky, showing a soft beauty, dazzling and shocking. There is a road sign marked "Seven Stars with the Moon" on the side of the road. It is a great place to view the essence of the terraces. The Seven Stars with the Moon are seven small hilltop terraces surrounding a large hilltop terrace, like seven sparkling stars. Upon closer inspection, it does look a bit like it. This set of images has a strong visual effect, the terraces are majestic and beautiful, layered like rising tides, rushing forward with the momentum of overwhelming mountains and seas, forming a world of oil painting terraces that flaunts power and beauty. The Seven Stars with the Moon takes the terraced rice farming culture as the main body, combines natural landscapes with ethnic minority cultural landscapes, and presents the world with great beauty. Looking from a distance, it is winding and floating, high and low, uneven, and spectacular. In the center of these small mountain ridges and small hills of the terraces, there is actually a large area of Zhuang stilt buildings. The Zhuang people living here seem to be in a painting, and they seem to be in the fairy mountain of Yaochi. The Longji terraces are majestic and show a domineering atmosphere that dominates the world. It is the crown of the world's terrace landscape and is known as "the world's best". Before returning, I hurriedly walked around the village, because this is a large-scale Zhuang stilt building group, mostly orange-yellow. At noon, I left the Longji Terrace by car. I've seen other tea garden terraces before, but compared to Longji, they are not as grand and spectacular. We stayed at a homestay in the scenic area, and got up at 5:30 in the morning to climb the mountain to watch the sunrise. It took about 15-20 minutes to climb along the path, and reaching the top really opened up the view! Guilin city is about 80 kilometers away from Longji Town, and it takes about an hour and a half by car to reach the scenic spot ticket office. • The ticket office in the scenic area is located in Longji Town, and the ticket price is: 80 yuan, which allows access to the entire scenic area. It's about 9 kilometers to the ancient Zhuang village; It's about 17 kilometers to Ping'an village; It's about 24 kilometers to the Jinkeng Dazhai village. Among the three villages, I personally recommend visiting Jinkeng Dazhai village, as the terraced fields there are the most spectacular among the three (!!!NOTE, there is a cable car available in the Jinkeng Dazhai terraced fields.) Ping'an village has already been irrigated, and currently, the Jinkeng Dazhai terraced fields are also gradually being irrigated. There are the following ways to get to Longji Rice Terraces from Guilin: Self-driving (X Not recommended, as the mountain roads are narrow, winding, and difficult to navigate, which is not very friendly for those who are not used to driving on mountain roads) Chartered car (This is a less troublesome and comfortable choice, but it costs a bit more) Bus (More affordable, but departs on a schedule, only convenient for going to Jinkeng Dazhai.)
