Observatory on a cliff
Original Text
When I tried to move after lunch at the rest house Ofuyu, the observatory jumped into my eyes and decided to go. Immediately arrived at the observatory parking lot, started climbing the stairs and arrived at the observatory. The rest house Yufuyu and the sea of Japan that I ate from below are a panoramic view.
There is a parking lot up the national highway. You will have to use the stairs from the parking lot to the observatory, so be careful for people with poor legs. From the observatory, you can see the spectacular view of the Sea of Japan and the cliffs. You can feel the nature of Hokkaido from the parking lot.
On the cliff along National Highway 231. Please stop by once.

There is an observatory in the south of Masuhae on National Highway 231, where you can see the Yufuyu fishing port below. It's hard to notice when you're driving, but it's a good idea to stop by and enjoy the scenery. You can drive up to the vicinity of the observatory.
Cape Ofuyu is a cape between Ishikari and Masuhae. Roads are built along the coast, but lighthouses and observatorys are on cliffs. It is also a scenic spot with a panoramic view of the Arashi 々 Sea of Japan.
There is an inconspicuous sign on National Highway No. 231 in Masoke Town, and it seems that you will pass by. There is a space for more than a dozen cars in the parking lot. You have to go up the stairs to the observatory. The glass-enclosed building is dirty with glass and the view is not very good. The wooden path outside was damaged and unpassable. Still, on a sunny day, you can see from the direction of Otaru to Rumoi.
