One of the better preserved lime kilns in the county, offering the chance to see them from above as well as at ground level. The information boards explain the process and show what hard work it was.
Interesting history of these local kilns. Can take a car to a nearby car park. But some uphill walking is required, not suitable for anyone who has difficulty walking.

Nice area. Lovely for families with kids!
We spent the weekend in a nearby hotel, had a lovely time in the park. Our children came back home happy and relaxed. Recommended!!!
