明池位于天一阁景区内。这是天一阁内的一个池塘，现在与假山，楼阁相衬还是比较好看的。但是以前这是重要的防火设施，因为天一阁藏书非常多，防火是第一位。而天一阁之所以取名天一，也是取自“天一生水”的意思。个人觉得冲着这点，也要去这个小池塘看看
