Lovely place
The town is beautiful, the see is great. However, there are boats around, so not a good choice to swim, especially when there's a gem like Mavra Volia next to it.

The black beach
The famous beach of Chios looks like the black beaches of Santorini. The black stones are a result of an old volcano which is now off. There is a path where you can hike to the volcano.
