I drove by on April 2nd.

I heard that this was the place where the samurai residence of the Odawara domain was located. When I passed today, I could see the cherry tree (Yoshino cherry tree) from the sidewalk side of the road of 500 m. I stopped my car and took a picture. I usually just pass by, but there were other people taking pictures. On both sides of the road, there were magnificent houses that seemed to be descendants of former samurai families. There is the "Odawara Literature Museum" on this street, and you can see the history of literary masters from the Meiji era living here. Corona's ... at this time of year
Jingshan Temple, Odawara Literature Museum, Jibee Temple, Old Matsumoto の Before の Tong り
Original Text
The street in front of Shizuyamaso, Odawara Literature Museum, and the former Goyoshi Matsumoto Villa is Nishikaikoji. Both sides of Nishikaikoji are lined with cherry blossom trees, so it seems to be beautiful when the cherry blossoms bloom. It seems that the origin of the place name is because the psychedelic tree was planted. In the late Edo period, it was a samurai residence of a mid-level feudal retainer, and became a villa in the Meiji era. Nishikaikoji has a wide sidewalk and many tourist attractions around it, so it was a good place to take a walk.
