" Oku no Hosumichi" was the title of the five month literary journey of the great haiku poet Basho. This journey ended in Ogaki in the autumn of 1689. Though documents and haiku in the Matsuo Basho ...

    Base of sightseeing in Ogaki

    Original Text

It is a facility that serves as a base for sightseeing in Ogaki, with tourist information centers, souvenir shops, and cafes where you can enjoy Ogaki famous confectionery water buns. Ogaki is said to be the end of the journey on the back of Basho Matsuo's Hosodo, and there is also a museum called Bashokan and a museum about the historical great man of Ogaki. 3D Theater is recommended

    Original Text

There are commentary exhibitions in various places visited by Basho in the hall, but it is recommended to see the 3D theater. I saw three of the five due to time constraints, but you can experience traveling with Basho. The admission fee of 300 yen is also reasonable.
