Yes the water is cooler because the lake is very deep here. Watch out for roots along the path and remember to bring your own garbage back with you as the garbage down there is not emptied too ofter....

I should have waited a month or two before visiting here. I am sure that spring and summer would be a much better time to visit this area.

Place to swim and relax

great place to go for a little walk on the trail to the lake.( short walk) Crystal clear water to swim in...the scenery is so beautiful too.
