Really interesting. A red desert in the middle of tropical vegetation. It reminded me of a Namibian desert. Should you be in the area then do visit it. You have to pay on line R35 per person.
Amazing hidden Gem
Amazing place, a hidden gem. Honesty policy also means less revenue for them because you can't find anyone to pay to enter.
Interesting experience
We were dying to visit the Red Desert and it did not disappoint. What an interesting but somehow a bit strange experience. A desert in a tropical area.
Kids had a blast
Quite easy to find but is a bit smaller than what I expected. There were some obscene graffiti drawings on some of the areas which hopefully will be eroded away when it rains. The kids (4 &6) enjoyed ...
Smallest desert in the world
This caught me by surprise as it’s in SA and I never knew it existed. It’s off the main road and not sign posted at all. But you can google ways yourself there. But it’s still an awesome sight to see ...
