You can stay overnight on the mountain, walk through the ancient town, and try some local specialties. There are two cableways on Jiuhua Mountain. One is the Jiuhua Mountain Cableway, also known as the Tiantai Cableway, with the lower station located 150 meters north of the Dajue Temple in a depression, and the upper station located 20 meters south of the Muyu Peak in a mountain hollow, spanning the Minyuan and Tiantai core scenic areas. The other is the Hundred-Year Palace Cable Car, starting from the Gion Temple in the jungle and going up to the thousand-year-old temple, the Hundred-Year Palace, which enshrines the true body of the Ming Dynasty monk Wuxia. It is recommended for those who are not physically strong to take the cableway up the mountain.
