Liu Yongfu Former Residence

Liu Yongfu's former residence is called "Sanxuantang", located at No. 10 Bangui Street, Qinzhou City (formerly known as Xia Nanguan). It was built in Qing Guangxu 17 years (1891). It is the most magnificent and complete Qing Dynasty architecture complex in Qinzhou City. In the 1894 Sino-Japanese War, the Qing government appointed Liu Yongfu as Taiwan's military deputy, leading the army of the flag to the Taiwan resistance. In April 1895, the Qing army lost the Sino-Japanese War and was forced to sign the Maguan Treaty and cut the land indemnity.
